Captina Creekin’ Festival planned

The Captina Creek Conservancy and the Belmont County Tourism Council are planning a fun, free festival on Captina Creek – the Captina Creekin’ Festival on Saturday, Oct. 16 starting at noon.

There will be live music from Almost Famous Bluegrass Band, activities on the creek, educational booths, food, an art auction, hay ride, information on Captina Conservancy, and more.

Bring a chair or blanket for a picnic, and to relax and enjoy the music.

The Captina Creek Conservancy is located at 55800 New Castle Road (State Route 26), along the South Fork of the Captina Creek, just north of the village of New Castle in Wayne Township, Belmont County.
