BARNESVILLE — The Barnesville High Lady Shamrocks were upended on Monday at home as Union Local High took the win in four sets by scores of 25-16, 25-14, 21-25 and 25-9.
Barnesville (8-3) had solid play from Erin Hannahs who accounted for 29 digs and 10 points (1 dig).
Junior Bri Bohandy totaled six points, four kills and four digs for the Lady ‘Rocks. Seniors Sydney Ralston and Bailey Ramsay both turned in quality performances for Barnesville with Ralston chalking up 19 digs, nine kills and two points while Ramsay added 10 assists, 11 digs and three points.
Barnesville also had a strong contribution from freshman Mya McEndree who recorded five points, five assists and seven digs.
Kaitlyn Clark Patterson led the Lady Jets with 16 kills and five digs, with Adrean Carlile added 15 digs with three kills. Katie Bashline chipped in with 28 assists, 20 digs and three kills.

RAYLAND — In a three-set sweep, the visiting Union Local Lady Jets rolled past the host Buckeye Local Lady Panthers by scores of 25-11, 25-23 and 25-15 on Tuesday.
Kaitlynn Clark-Patterson led the Lady Jets in both scoring serving up seven aces and then at the net she had eight kills and a blocks, while contributing five digs on defense. Katie Bashline had three service aces, 22 assists, nine digs and two kills with Cortney Otto adding a pair of aces, six kills and one assist.
Adrean Carlile paced the Lady Jets at the net with nine kills and had one service ace. McKenzie Deese and Baylee Wiseman had one service ace each with Deese adding three assists and three digs to go with one kill.

CADIZ — After spotting the host Harrison Central Lady Huskies a 25-22 win in the opening set, the visiting Barnesville Lady Shamrocks roared back with three consecutive wins by scores of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-11 for a 3-1 victory in the match on Tuesday.
For Barnesville (9-3) Sydney Ralston paced the offense with 13 points including one ace with Mya McEndree adding 12 points (two aces), while Mindi Wehr added 10 points and Bailey Ramsay eight points. Ramsay handed out 18 assists and McEndree chipped in with 17.
Ralston also paced the ’Rocks on defense with 23 digs with Erin Hannahs close behind with 21. McEndree added 12 digs and Ramsay had eight. At the net, again it was Ralston with 27 kills with Cassidy Rush adding 11 stops, while Wehr had five to go with four blocks.

MORRISTOWN — After spotting the visiting St. Clairsville Lady Red Devils a 26-24 win in the opening set, the Union Local Lady Jets reeled off three straight wins by scores of 25-23, 25-20 and 25-20 to claim a 3-1 victory on Thursday.
Adrean Carlile had seven service aces, 11 kills, three blocks and four digs for Union Local. Cortney Otto added three aces, 11 kills, two blocks and 10 digs; Morgan Edwards had one ace, six stops and five digs; Katie Bashline dished out 25 assists, recorded 14 digs and had three kills and a block; Baylee Wiseman had 10 defensive digs with one ace, four kills and one assist; and McKenzie Dees had four kills and eight digs.

BARNESVILLE — After winning the opening two sets, the host Barnesville Lady Shamrocks spotted the visiting Bridgeport Lady Bulldogs a win in the third set before rebounding to win the fourth for a 3-1 victory on Thursday.
Barnesville (10-3) won the opening sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-17 before Bridgeport claimed a 25-23 win in the third. The Lady ’Rocks roared back for a 25-17 win in the fourth to complete the 3-1 win.
Erin Hannahs paced Barnesville in scoring with 12 points (two aces), with Bailey Ramsay adding 11 points and Bri Bohandy was close behind with 10 counters. Mya McEndree chipped in eight points while Sydney Ralston had six (two aces). Ramsay also handed out 22 assists and McEndree added 14.
On defense, Ralston led the way with 20 digs with Ramsay adding 15 while Hannahs and McEndree had 13 each and Mindi Wehr finished with five. In net action, Ralston slammed 25 kills and Wehr added 10.
For Bridgeport, Shelby Matheny led the way in scoring with 10 points (two aces); Dakota Dobrzynski added six (one ace) and Samantha Ivan chipped in five points. Dobrzynski handed out 19 assists while on defense, Matheny and Julia Hoffman had 14 digs each and Dobrzynski and Lauren Neer added nine each.
At the net, Deja’ Massey hammered 12 kills while Kamden Dulesky added eight stops and 14 blocks.
