The 3rd Annual Buckeye Buckmasters Chapter of the BADF and Dakota Outfitters ( have again teamed up to honor and support our military veterans by offering a free “Hunt of a Lifetime” to one lucky veteran from the Ohio Valley area.
The Veterans Appreciation Hunt is open to all veterans residing in either Ohio or West Virginia who have served active duty in any of the U.S. Armed Forces during any past or present war or conflict.  The hunt is open to both able bodied and disabled veterans alike.
 The hunt will take place on Tuesday, September 24 at Dakota Outfitters’ ranch just outside of Quaker City, Ohio.  The hunter will arrive at the ranch the day before the hunt and spend the evening at Dakota’s beautiful lodge.  The lucky winner will be permitted to bring one non-hunting guest of their choice to accompany them on their adventure.  All costs associated with the hunt, except meat processing, taxidermy, travel to and from the lodge and an Ohio hunting license (if a resident of Ohio) will be covered by the Buckeye Buckmasters Chapter and Dakota Outfitters.  The hunter will be allowed to harvest one whitetail buck up to 150” on the Boone and Crockett scoring scale.
 Application deadline is September 10, 2013.  Winner will be notified by phone on or before 9-15-13.  The dates of the hunt CANNOT be changed, only apply if you can hunt on the dates listed above.  Anyone who has already applied for this hunt need not re-apply.
