Barnesville edged by Monroe Central, 35-25WOODSFIELD --A scoreless fourth quarter sent Barnesville High to a 39-35 setback to host Monroe Central Seminoles on Friday.The Shamrocks had a 35-25 lead entering the final stanza after a huge 20-9 edge in the third quarter. All that hard work went down the drain in the fourth period, however, as the Seminoles pitched a shutout to the tune of 14-0 to rally for the victory.Barnesville (3-3) was led in scoring by Zach Dornon with 12 points whilePreston Dornon added eight points and four steals.Marcus Schumacher's game-high 15-point night led the way for Monroe (3-1), while Guiler Bettinger finished with eight.Monroe Central took the rebounding battle by a 30-23 count, with C.J. Wise pulling down seven. Tyler Fitzpatrick yanked down 13 to lead the Shamrocks.
