SARAHSVILLE -- Barnesville's visit to Shenandoah High on Tuesday, Sept. 8, ended in defeat in all four games, 25-18, 25-11, 18-25,

and 25-15.

The Zeps took off in game one behind a nine-point streak with Ashley Butcher serving.

Barnesville won the third game with some aggressive net play, with Heidi Hines spiking four kills and Mackenzie Touvelle adding two.

Shenandoah closed the match with a convincing 10-point margin in the fourth game.

Hines led the way for the Shamrocks (0-4), posting 17 kills, 20 digs and five points (one ace). Other Barnesville contributors were Jessica Clary with 20 digs and three points; Devyn Yager with for 13 assists, 12 digs and nine points; and Paige Gibbons with 12 digs, seven assists, seven kills and seven points.

"We need to find some consistency," said Barnesville coach Nikki McEndree and play like we are capable of. We showed what we could do in game three, we just need to bring that together."
