Shamrock grapplers sweep dual
BARNESVILLE -- The Shamrock grapplers swept a pair of duals on Wednesday afternoon, topping Crooksville 42-24 and Shenandoah 48-18.
Quentin Castello (130 lbs.) racked up two big pins for the Shamrocks, stopping Crooksville's B. Paul in 1:11 and Shenandoah's Jorge Wilkos in 4:02.
Kody Crooks also finished two opponents at 140 pounds, pinning C. Sprankle of Crooksville in 4:56 and James Mercer of Shenandoah in 3:58.
R.J. Baker also swept his matches, pinning N. Gussler of Crooksville in 3:15 and beating Shenandoah's Logan Michel by way of a 9-4 decision.
In the afternoon's other contest, Crooksville topped Shenandoah 41-24.
