Caldwell seized the lead early on, grabbing a 10-2 lead the opening quarter and adding to the advantage the second round with a 14-5 scoring edge for a 24-7 half-time lead. The Lady Jets cut into the Caldwell lead the third round outscoring the Lady "Skins 10-5 giving Caldwell a 29-17 lead going to the final eight minutes
The teams played an even fourth stanza both scoring nine points to provide the 38-26 Caldwell win
The Lady Redskins hit on 13-of-31 field shots for 41.9 percent and added 9-of-19 from the foul line. Kristin Nau led the visitors with 16 points followed by Courtnie Mackie with 12 while Stacey Mugrage added six points and Lizzy Nau four markers. Mackie also handed out three of the 10 assists and collected four of the 10 steals. The Lady "Skins were guilty of 10 turnovers
Union Local (1-15) shot just 35.7 percent from the floor, hitting 10-of-28 and the Lady Jets converted 5-of-10 from the bonus line. Katie Hoblick paced the hosts with 10 points followed by Madison Nagy with six and Makenzie Barr with four. The hosts dished out six assists and recorded four steals, while committing 12 turnovers
Caldwell also won the battle of the boards, 26-15, as the Lady Redskins were led by Kristin Nau and Mugrage with six boards each.
