SANDUSKY — Anna S. (nee Wehle) Kreidler, 83, of Sandusky passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 in Firelands Regional Medical Center after an illness.

She was born on Jan. 2, 1934 in Salzstetten, Germany to the late Anselm and Agathe (nee Kaupp) Wehle.

At the age of 21, she moved to the United States, becoming an official citizen in 1970. She was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her family.

Anna was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sandusky. She enjoyed gardening, cooking German food, playing cards, especially pinochle, visiting Germany and spending time with her grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her children, David (Pamela) Kreidler, of North Olmsted, Donald (Suzanne) Kreidler of Sandusky, Father Rodney Kreidler of Ashland and Loriann (Bill) Kreidler, of Sandusky; grandchildren, Marc Kreidler, Allen Joseph Kreidler (Megan Zkiab), Evan Hullinger and Nicolas and Cassandra Reyes; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Kreidler, whom she married in 1959; and many brothers and sisters.

Friends may call on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. until time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Her son, the Rev. Rodney Kreidler, will officiate, and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Anna’s name to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements. Condolences and gifts of sympathy may be shared with the family by visiting (T-G 09/15/17)
