Evelyn V. Denham, 90, of Bethesda, Ohio died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Cumberland Pointe Nursing and Rehab., St. Clairsville, Ohio. She was born January 7, 1919 in Belmont County a daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha Eberhart Shores.
Evelyn was the retired owner-operator of the former Denhams Restaurant of Bethesda and a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Fred and Kenneth Shores.
Surviving are her husband of 71 years, James C. Denham; a daughter Shirley (Tom) Lucas of Bethesda; sons, Lewis "Bud" (Randi) Denham of Mechanicsburg, Pa., David (Sherrie) Denham of San Antonio, Texas, Jim (Belinda) Denham of Belmont, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends were received Thursday, February 12 at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main St., Bethesda, Ohio, where services were held Friday, February 13, burial in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda.
