Marjorie E. (Little Red Hen) Wehr, 80, of Barnesville, Ohio died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at her home. She was born March 31, 1928 in Belmont, Ohio, a daughter of the late Cecil Saffell and Mary Katherine McFarland Saffell.
Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a homemaker for many years. She loved to play bingo and was a member of the St. Clairsville VFW.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kostelia.
Surviving are her husband, Vernon; daughters, Becky (Darryl) Hughes of Cambridge, Ohio, Barbara (Ryan) Fair of Akron, Ohio, and Rose (Dale) Brothers of Baltimore, Ohio; sons, William R. (Nancy) Wehr of Newport, Ind., Francis (Christie) Wehr of Lafferty, Ohio, David (Lisa) Wehr of Butlerville, Ind.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Willard (Joyce) Saffell of Jerusalem, Ohio and Larry (Barb) Saffell of Belmont, Ohio.
Friends were received Friday, February 6, 2009 at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio where services were held Saturday, February 7, burial in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
