Richard L. Easthom, Sr., 73, of Barnesville, Ohio died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at his home. He was born January 17, 1935 in Harrisville, Ohio a son of the late Darrell and Mary Horstman Easthom.
Richard was a retired carpenter, a member of the Worldwide Church of God, and the Bethesda Senior Citizens. He served in the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ingie Marsman Easthom, and a grandson, Daniel Easthom.
Surviving are three daughters, Carla (Martin) Hotes of Washington, Elizabeth (Reggie) Elkins of Georgia, Jacqueline (Don) Fagal of Wheeling, W.Va.; a son, Richard, Jr. (Beverly) Easthom of Wadsworth, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-granchildren; sisters, Vicky Kocher of Barnesville and Jackie Glossinger of Parma, Ohio; a brother, Bill Blevins of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Friends were received Sunday, December 28, 2008 until the time of service at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322, North Main St., Bethesda, Ohio. Burial followed in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
Belmont County Council Veterans of Foreign Wars held military services at 12:45 p.m..
