Girl Scout Troop 10292 has had a very busy year. The girls are in kindergarten so this is the first year they have been able to do girl scouts. They have been focusing on learning some of the core values of girl scouts and I hope the girls are developing some life-long friendships.

The Barnesville community has been wonderful and very welcoming to us. So far we have been able to take a tour of the Barnesville Police Station, the Barnesville Veterinary Service office as well as undertaking a fun project at the Barnesville Flower Gardens. They have a few other areas in town they will be touring and we still have a few more bi-weekly meetings.

"I would also like to thank my assistant leader Erica Peddicord for all of her help. We are also collecting items for ‘bedtime bags’ as a service unit," said Carissa Allen, troop leader. "This year has been so much fun and I can’t wait to see what these girls will be doing in the future!"
