John Timothy Parkinson, Jr. died suddenly on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, in his home in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was born on July 11, 1973, in Annapolis, Maryland.
Tim loved his sports teams and was a lifelong fan of the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Phillies.
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Marcia Parkinson of Barnesville, Ohio, along with two sisters, Laura Parkinson of Westminster, Md., and Kristin Parkinson Fahey of Philadelphia, Pa. He is also survived by his grandfather, Charles Phillips of New Philadelphia, Ohio; his nephew and niece, Jake and Madison Mullins of Philadelphia, Pa,; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Phillips of New Philadelphia, Ohio; his paternal grandparents, Herb and Elizabeth Parkinson of Barnesville, Ohio; and a brother, Brian Robert Parkinson.
A graveside service will be private and held at a later date at Crestview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
