Editor,

Community Spirit is alive and well. This was evident on Dec. 7 at the Breakfast with Santa event that was hosted by Girl Scout Troop 3-3069. Nearly 300 meals were served in a three hour span, with the Girl Scouts taking the role of waitresses. This fundraiser has helped scouting for years with the expenses of supplies, activities, and travel plans. We are grateful to those in attendance for supporting us, and hope you enjoyed your time with Santa.

In preparation for the event, the following members of our community ensured the event’s success (in no particular order): Woodsfield Savings Bank, Ohio Hills Health Services, Joe's Tires, Corner Pharmacy, Dana Detling, Barnesville Vison Center, Starr's Used Cars, Hissoms Service Center, Dr. Patcha, Dr. Mayberry, Convenient, Lakeland Foods, BPOE #1699, K Tech, Braido Memorials, Riesbeck's, Barnesville Vet Services, Barnesville Pumpkin Fest, Cheffy Drugs, Jr. Women's Club of Barnesville, Village Hardware & Rental, Inc, Skinner Insurance, Flag Floors, Barnesville Kiwanis Club, McGee Recycling, United Dairy Inc., Dr. Huff, Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #168, Kara Menges, Nancy Toohey, The First United Methodist Church, our Families, and of course, Santa! THANK YOU!

Sincerely,

Girl Scout Troop 3-3069
