WHEELING, W.Va. – Wheeling Hospital has teamed up with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office to host Operation Street Smart on Nov. 22 at Belmont College, 68094 Hammond Road in St. Clairsville.

This adult drug education program, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will cover topics including current drug trends, terminology, paraphernalia and more. Opening the program will be Belmont County Common Pleas Court Judge Frank Fregiato.

This award-winning program is helpful for adults who interact with youths in a variety of capacities. EMS, firefighters, law enforcement, nurses, parents, educators, counselors, prohibition officers and anyone else who is interested in learning how to identify and protect the community from the harmful effects of drug abuse are encouraged to attend.
