Scott A. McCormick, 63, of Bethesda, passed away on Monday, Oct. 28, 2019. He was born on Feb. 19, 1956, in Barnesville to Pauline "Polly" J. (Gallagher) McCormick of Bethesda and the late John Richard "Dick" McCormick.

Scott was a 1974 graduate of Union Local High School. Scott was a member of the Masonic Lodge Hazen Lodge 251, Eastern Star for 42 years and was a manager for McCormick & Sons, Inc. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Scott was a world-class hunter. He bagged game in Africa, South America, and all over North America.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" M. (Hall) McCormick; daughter, Jessica L. McCormick; three brothers, John R. (Anita), Michael "Mike" P. (Marsha) both of Bethesda, and Jeffrey "Jeff" L. (Robin) of Westerville; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and services were held on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, with the Rev. Ed Emory officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville. Burial followed at Bethesda Methodist Cemetery.
