ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The leaves are starting to fall, signaling that basketball season is just around the corner. To get the ball rolling, Ohio University Eastern will be offering youth clinics for area basketball enthusiasts in K – 8 grade on Saturday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. during the month of October.
The clinics will take place at the beautiful Health and Physical Education Center on the campus. The cost is $10 per session or $30 for all four sessions.
The youth clinics will focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense, and more in an active upbeat setting. Ohio University Eastern Athletics Director E. J. Schodzinski will direct the clinic with help from Men’s Basketball Coach Chris Pagano, as well as members of the men’s and women’s teams at OHIO Eastern.
"I am really looking forward to the clinics," said Schodzinski. "It is a great opportunity to welcome families to our campus, encourage youngsters in the game of basketball, and introduce the members of our teams to the community."
All proceeds will benefit the Ohio University Eastern Athletic Department.
