The annual Myers and Hamilton family reunion took place Saturday, July 27 at Barnesville Memorial Park in the Rotary Shelter House. A grand time was had by all with many old and new faces being present, Approximately 140 were in attendance. Opening remarks were made by president Angela Frase followed by the invocation by Deirdre Johnson. A basket dinner was enjoyed by all. Gifts were presented to all children (our future). Small monetary gifts were presented to:

Oldest man present: Alvia Jackson, 83 years young,

Oldest woman present: Madeline Cunningham 94 years young

Youngest baby boy: Greg Bowen one-year-old,

Youngest baby girl: Amara Edwards 9 months old.

Married longest: Kenneth and Shirley Ellis, 62 years of wedded bliss.

Traveled farthest: Jackson family of California.

An auction followed with Jim Myers as auctioneer with helpers Russell Jenkins, Angela Frase, Dee Johnson and Kevin Myers with proceeds from the auction going to the reunion's fund. A moment of silence and a memorial prayer was offered by Deirdre Johnson for our loved ones passed. Officers for the 2020 year reunion:
