On Saturday, July 20, The Watt Center welcomes the public to visit from 1 to 4 p.m. Displays on the first floor and basement levels offer a reminder of Barnesville’s rich history in one of the village’s many historic buildings, the former office of a major employer, Watt Car & Wheel Co.
Enjoy displays of artifacts that tell the area’s agricultural, industrial, and retail history. A special display of creations by local artists is part of the Center’s growing collection.
There is no charge and refreshments will be provided. Tours at other times may be arranged. For more information, call Mary Sidwell 740-926-1547 or Beverly Hannahs 740-425-1537.
