SOMERTON — Rev. Dale Warrick has been appointed to serve the Somerton United Methodist Church, effective July 1. Rev. Warrick and his wife Rita moved to the Warrick family farm a year ago upon his retirement.

With his appointment Rev. Warrick’s pastoral career has come full circle. He grew up in the Somerton community and is a life-long member of the Somerton United Methodist Church. He was appointed out of this congregation to full time ministry in 1995. He graduated from Garrett Evangelical Seminary course of studies in the year 2000 and has served as an ordained pastor until his retirement in 2018. During his 23 years in ministry he served Methodist congregations in Conner Ridge, Adena, Harrisville, Georgetown, Lorain and Doylestown, Ohio.

Rev. Dale preaches with a passionate, animated storytelling style. He believes everyone is loved by God, and takes every opportunity to show them what that means. He is mission and community oriented and is looking forward to working closely with his new appointment in sharing the love and grace of God with the Somerton community.
