Stella spends a lot of her time in the hospital because of her Cystic Fibrosis. She focused a lot on her routines and boundaries that were set by the nurses, but all of that was changed when she met Will, another patient with Cystic Fibrosis. As Stella and Will spent more time together, their love expanded, causing Stella to become more rebellious and realize that she wanted to do her treatments to live instead of living through her treatments.
Phaedra’s take- Five Feet Apart was a very heartwarming movie that was somewhat like The Fault in our Stars. It showed how love can occur in any situations and represented the main theme of, "if you love something/someone you have to let it go." I felt extremely touched by this movie and would definitely recommend it to someone who enjoys romantic/tragic movies. I would give this five out of five Shamrocks.
Jessie’s take- Five Feet Apart talked about a hard subject about a girl who had to deal with Cystic Fibrosis and how she isn’t able to love or touch anyone who also has Cystic Fibrosis. It’s a heartwarming and interesting movie that I would recommend for people who are hopeless romantics. I would give this a five out of five shamrocks.
