Barnesville High School’s Prom was held on Saturday, April 27.

It was a first — as it was held in a clear-top tent. The theme was Starry, Starry Night as inspired by Van Gogh’s painting. The Prom Royalty was King Cade Hannahs, Queen Annie Carpenter, Prince Luke Eddy, and Princess Madison Detling.

The event was a success and there are several people and businesses that the Class of 2020 would like to express our appreciation to for their help and support. The amazing vendors we worked with and appreciate are Arise Tents & Events in Sugarcreek, Theo’s from Cambridge, and Nick Arno Premium Entertainment. They appreciate Flag Floors of Barnesville, Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Jeff Freshwater, Barnesville Do It Best Hardware, and Village Hardware for their donations and help.

They also appreciate the parents and grandparents of the Class of 2020 students, the staff and administration who helped chaperone, Luke Johnson, John Blattler, Etta Moyer and the Barnesville FFA, Officer Megan Phillips, Officer Ben Neuhardt, the Village of Barnesville, Shawn Thompson, Lyn Gallagher, and Nancy Mayo. The event would not have been a success without them.
