BETHESDA — The Bethesda Park Board approved March 11 the Easter egg hunt for April 20 at the park. 

The board approved approved the treasurer’s report for February at $50,390.93 with the ending balance for the month at $56,747.07

The board discussed ideas about the recognition wall for all of the trail sponsors and donors.

Jim Ellis said he is in contact with an ODNR representative to see about how to properly deal with the duck and geese issue at the park.

The board discussed the purchase and installation of the drinking fountain. Rick stated that he will be ordering the fountain soon.

Marty Lucas asked the board if they intend to work on setting up the pitching machine that has been donated to the village. He said he tried to get the baseball coaches together and parents involved to help with labor to construct the containment for the pitching machine. The board also noted that we would have to have electric installed at the ball fields also.
