BETHESDA — At a recent council meeting, Pete Busack was named Bethesda’s new police chief.
Bethesda has been without a police chief for months, following the resignation of Chief Eric Smith, who was under investigation by the state Attorney General's office.
Busack is excited to continue to work with the village to improve the department.
He has already made some changes, like implementing a new camera system in police cars and the police station.
He previously worked for the Belmont County Sheriff's Department and the Bellaire and Yorkville police departments.
