Les Misérables is a BBC television miniseries of the French historical novel of the same name by Victor Hugo. The series, adapted by Andrew Davies and directed by Tom Shankland, stars Dominic West, David Oyelowo, and Lily Collins. BBC Studios handles the distribution for the series.

The Weinstein Company was initially set to co-produce the series and serve as its distributor in the U.S. and China. The studio was dropped, however, following the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse allegations. Based on the original novel, the series does not include the songs from the Les Misérables musical.

The film was directed by Tom Shankland and written by Andrew Davies. There have only be six episodes so far, each having a running time of one hour. Dominic West plays as Jean Valjean, David Oyelowo plays as Javert, and Lily Collins plays as Fantine Thibault.
