Now that the nice weather is rolling in for spring, you can’t help but smile! Those pearly whites might not be so pearly after a long, cold winter of drinking coffee. Let’s get that picture-perfect smile back with these three ways to naturally brighten your teeth!

Charcoal Powder

Charcoal powder is great for many uses, but did you know it’s amazing for your teeth? Stores like Walgreens and Walmart sell mini tubs of this powder for brushing your teeth. Just dip your toothbrush in water, then in the powder, and brush as normal. Make sure to rinse really well so you aren’t left with black gums! Brush every night with this routine and see beautiful results within the month.

Lemon Juice & Baking Soda

Now be careful with this method because too much usage can be harmful. The acid in the lemon juice can tear down enamel if used too frequently. By mixing equal parts lemon juice and baking soda will create a fizzing toothpaste mixture. Dip your clean toothbrush in and brush as normal. This method is very good at removing surface stains and leaves you feeling shiny and ready to show off those teeth!

Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide has a natural bleaching agent in it that works wonders on teeth! In order to whiten with hydrogen peroxide you can either dip your clean brush in the liquid and keep repeating until your teeth are covered, or you can create a paste by combining the peroxide with baking soda, which you can brush with as usual. Most people see beaming results within three weeks!
