Barnesville Girl Scout Troop 5795 Ambassador level members are Hailey Baker, Kayla Crooks, Harleigh Howiler, Alyssa McEndree, Kassie Steele and Senior level member is Dalynn Harvey. They are juniors and a sophomore at Barnesville High School. The leader is Kim Crooks and assistant leader is Amanda McEndree.

The girls have been busy learning and earning badges, providing community service, participating in outdoor activities, and selling Girl Scout cookies.

The Troop went to ACE Adventure Resort at the New River Gorge in July and spent a few days camping and enjoyed whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and zip lining. This past Fall they volunteered at Storybook Park at a craft table helping the kids make a craft. They also learned CPR and first aid in October. This was taught by Barnesville E-Squad members Jacob Barrett and Tristan Pace. In addition, they went to the movie theater and watched Friday the 13th Camp Blood then topped it off by going to the Moundsville Penitentiary Haunted House. At Christmas time, the Troop made Christmas cards to give to hospice patients. They also donated hygiene items to hospice patients.

The Troop will be celebrating Girl Scout week by having a party and making Do-Si-Do milkshakes.

The Troop is currently planning their summer trip and their Girl Scout Senior trip for 2020.
