Barnesville Nursery School will have student registration for the 2019-2020 classes on Friday, March 15 at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church on Shamrock Drive from 9 to 11 a.m.
Barnesville Nursery School is licensed by the State of Ohio and meets all requirements of the state laws governing preschools. Co-owners are Brenda Miller and Susan Groves. Brenda Miller serves as Administrator of the school. Teacher’s aides include Cathy Froehlich, Lori Burkhart, Beth Ann Starr and Wendy Smolira.
The school’s objectives are to encourage growth of the preschool child socially, mentally, emotionally and physically. Units of study on colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, zoo, ocean, health, planting, farm, dinosaurs, and other topics introduce children to new learning situations. Art, music, creative play, physical exercises, story time and free play are also a part of the daily schedule.
The Barnesville Nursery School operates from September through May and is located in the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church on Shamrock Drive. Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for the older four and five year olds and Tuesday and Thursday for the three and four year olds. A registration fee is payable at the time if registration. For information, contact Brenda Miller at 740-425-3861 or 740-359-4671.
