The photo of John and Mary Hall, owners of the very popular Hall's Drive In back in the 60s, 70s and early 80s went viral when posted on the popular social media website, Facebook.

Hall's Drive In, once located on Leatherwood Road, just outside of Barnesville, was known far and wide for their excellent service and the superior quality of the food and ice cream treats they served. It was a popular stop for anyone heading to Quaker City or Seneca Lake. The Halls gave many local young people their first jobs, working at the drive-in during the summer.

Local author Mike Duve posted this photo on multiple Facebook pages back in July of this year. The photo generated an overwhelming response with more than a thousand "shares" and now more than 10,000 "likes" from people all over the world. The comments just poured in from past customers and former employees as they posted about their great experiences with the Halls and how much they missed them and the drive in.

With that kind of response, it was obvious that this picture would be on the cover of this years "Barnesville Souvenir Coloring Book."

Joan Hamilton Hall, daughter of the late John and Mary Hall, is pictured holding a copy of the souvenir coloring book and coffee mug that features a photo of her parents standing in front of their drive-in. You can see the mug and coloring book locally in Blossom's Flower shop on Main Street in downtown Barnesville. The books and mugs will also be available at this years Christmas Craft Fair to be held on Dec. 1 in the grade school gymnasium. Additionally, the coloring books are available on
