ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Belmont College will be holding a New Student Open House and picnic on Wednesday, June 13 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Main Campus location in St. Clairsville.

Prospective students and their families are invited to meet and talk with college faculty and staff, receive assistance with admissions and financial aid, and tour the newly renovated campus. A BBQ picnic will be held in the courtyard all day offering free refreshments as well as fun games, prizes and giveaways.

A live remote with WOVK will take place from Noon until 2 p.m. and a Shaved Ice Truck will be on-hand to serve shaved flavored ice to all attendees.

Prospective students will also learn about the Be Connected initiative, which provides an iPad for every student, faculty and the majority of staff members for integration into every facet of student life from enrollment to graduation. The purpose of Be Connected is to encourage completion and retention, as well as to enhance the way Belmont College teaches and prepares students for the technology-driven careers that await them.
