WHEELING – A symposium free to all emergency/trauma professionals will be held Oct. 23 at Wheeling Hospital.
The event, sponsored by the Office of Pre-Hospital Care, will provide continuing education hours for nurses, physicians and paramedics. Featured will be a variety of lectures on topics including non-violent crisis intervention, blast injuries, identifying immobilization needs and neonatal abstinence syndrome.
Scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the hospital auditorium, the symposium will include lunch.
