Poker Run to benefit fire victims' families
A benefit for the families of Bethesda fire victims Andrew Ingold and Lori Kyle (see article on page B-4), will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Bethesda VFW Post 9712.
A Poker Run will begin at noon, with a 50 percent payout on turnout. The cost is $15 for single and $20 for couple. The first bike will go out at 1 p.m. and the last bike will come in at 5 p.m. Cars are welcome.
Chicken dinners will be available for delivery by calling (740) 391-2425 or 232-4227.
There will be live bands, a 50/50 raffle, cornhole tournament, dunking booth and several auction items. Food and beverages will also be for sale. Primitive camping is available.
The route will leave the VFW pavilion, go to Lafferty Moose, the schoolhouse in Fairpoint, St. Clairsville VFW, Chaps, Fast Lane and end at the pavilion.
A savings account has been established at WesBanco for the families.
