Barnesville leaf pick up to begin
The Street Department will once again pick up leaves that are bagged and left curbside by residents of the Village of Barnesville. Bags must contain leaves only and will be picked up as time allows. No specific schedule will be followed.
The Village would appreciate if residents would use the recyclable paper bags, but still will accept plastic bags as well.
Bagged leaves may be dropped off by residents at the East End of the Depot parking lot.

Barnesville Pup League Basketball Sign-ups Oct. 29
Barnesville Pup League will have sign-ups Thursday, October 29th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Albert S. George Youth Center. Boys and girls in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 are eligible to play. 3rd and 4th grade will be more instructional like last year.

Fall Harvest Festival Oct. 31
The First United Methodist Hearts In Service, along with the Barnesville Kiwanis Club would like to invite children 12 and under to our Fall Harvest Festival to be held in the church basement and parking lot.  The event will be October 31, from 1 - 3 p.m..  There will be costume judging, games, treats and new this year will be “Trunk or Treat”.  Costume judging will begin at 1 p.m.  We will be serving hot dog, chips and drinks.  We hope to see you there to celebrate God’s bountiful harvest.  

Soup and sandwich lunch
The Flushing United Methodist Church will be having a soup and sandwich lunch on Tuesday, November 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the church, which is located at 301 High St., Flushing, Ohio.
The meal will include hot chicken sandwiches, sloppy joes, vegetable soup, chicken noodle soup, bean soup, and corn bread. There will also be all types of pies and a choice of coffee or tea. A bazaar table will also be set up.
