" I couldn’t have asked the kids to play any better," said Coach Robinson. "We just lost to a better team today as Wheeling Central shot the lights out.
"The conditions were tough because it was really wet," the BHS coach continued, "but our kids responded and played very well."
Robinson pointed to his team’s overall balance as key to what has been a banner season thus far including a 29-0 dual record.
"We’ve had team effort all year," he said. "The kids have picked each other up and we’ve been very consistent.. It hasn’t been just one guy that has carried us the entire year...they’ve all contributed.
"They’re a great group of guys to be around," Robinson added. "They were disappointed, but we played as well as we could."
For Union Local, Josh Britton and Aiden Shugert both shot 88; Cassie Lucas finished at 103 and Bryson Utter had a 106.
