Congratulations to the winners and all the participants who played golf for a great cause. In addition to the Band Scholarship Award that the BCAB sponsors at BHS (given to a deserving band member each year), these funds will go to acquiring and repairing instruments so that both young and old can keep playing music in our schools and community. The Barnesville Community Alumni Band supports all area musicians and encourages anyone in the area to donate their unused instruments so that they can find their way into deserving hands.
Kudos to all who volunteered, the generous sponsors and golfing participants, and Shawn Thompson and the staff and members of The Cambridge Country Club.
