The Eastern District Track and Cross Country Coaches Association will induct the inaugural class of the Eastern District Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place at Mr. Lee's Restaurant Banquet Hall on Wednesday, June 21 at 6 p.m..

The inaugural class will include Charlie Fondale, Cambridge High School a charter member of the EOT&CCC Association; the late Cal Pokas, long- time sports editor at The Times Leader in Martins Ferry; Wayne Clark, Zanesville High School coach; Jeff Arthur, Claymont High School coach; Don Marks, Waterford High School coach; Jon Thomas, hurdler from Zanesville High School; Susan Nash Sugar, multiple state champion from Zanesville Rosecrans; Gretta Peterson Walton, sprinter from Cadiz High School; Tony Carna, distance runner Caldwell High School; and Aric Long, decathlete from East Liverpool High School.
