Steelers Footballers Coming to Cambridge
The Cambridge Middle School Parent Teacher Advisory Group (PTAG) is hosting a basketball game fundraiser featuring The Pittsburgh Steelers Footballers Basketball team. They will take on the Cambridge All-Star team, made up of Cambridge City Schools teachers and friends on Saturday, March 25 in the Cambridge High School gymnasium. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the main game beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $7 at the following locations: Dunning Motor Sales (9108 Southgate Rd.), Second Chances Retail (1306 ° Woodlawn Ave.), Best Treasuers (727 Wheeling Ave.), Cambridge Middle School (1400 Deerpath Dr.), and Central Elementary School (1115 Clairmont Ave.).
Buckeye Trail Baseball Youth Clinic March 26
Buckeye Trail Baseball will be having a Baseball Clinic for any child grades K-8 on March 26 from 2-6 p.m. at the high school baseball field (weather permitting) or in the high school gymnasium. Shenandoah Youth Hoop Tournaments
The Shenandoah Youth Boys/Girls Basketball Tournament will take place April 1-2 at Shenandoah High School and Elementary School in Sarahsville. The event is for grades 3-6 (school teams only). Blue Crush Volleyball Club Youth Camp
Blue Crush Volleyball Club will host a youth camp April 10-12 at Buckeye Trail Middle School from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for any boy or girl in grades 3-6 Current Blue Crush players and coaches will have campers work through a series of drills to improve on fundamentals and develop a passion for the sport. The fee for the camp is $25 and will include a shirt. Basketball Shootouts in Parkersburg
Parkersburg South and Parkersburg High will be hosting two basketball shootouts this spring in Parkersburg, WV. Wood County Shootout #1 will be April 8-9. Wood County Shootout #2 will be May 13-14. Each team will be guaranteed four games with a format of pool play and tournament play where appropriate. The cost is $195, entries due the Wednesday prior to each tournament. Divisions will be by grade. Girls - 6th, 7th, 8th, Junior Varsity, Varsity; Boys - 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, Junior Varsity, Varsity. Muskingum Free Youth Football Clinic
The Muskingum University football program invites you to participate in a Free Football Youth Clinic on Saturday, April 1. The clinic is open to boys currently in 3rd grade through 7th grade and is free to all participants. MRC to Host Indoor/Outdoor Triathlon
The Muskingum Recreation Center (MRC) will be hosting the third annual Indoor/Outdoor Triathlon on Saturday April 29. The first wave will begin at 9:30 a.m. Participants will be swimming 10 minutes in the lap pool, cycling 30 minutes in the cycle room, and running a 5K outdoors. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the various age brackets. The entry fee is $45 for a MRC member and $55 for a non-member. Registration opens Wednesday January 25 and runs until April 21. The Muskingum University men's basketball program is now accepting registrations for its Muskingum Roundball Overnight Skills Camp. The camp is scheduled June 25-28 and is open to any boy entering grades 4-12. The cost of the overnight camp is $295 and includes all meals and accommodations in newly air conditioned college dormitories or $200 for commuter campers.
