St. Clairsville – A 5K Run/Walk to benefit Special Olympics Ohio-Belmont County will take place Saturday, April 5 at Barkcamp State Park, near Belmont. All participants must be in the race area by the beach no later than 8:50 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m.
There are eight age categories in the 5K Run/Male and 5K Run/Female divisions and six categories in the 5K Walk/Male and 5K Walk/Female divisions. Overall, first, second and third place finishes will be awarded in each category.

Special Olympics Ohio-Belmont County is a non-profit organization that provides athletic opportunities for people with intellectual and other disabilities. It is supported in part by the Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
