The highlight of the evening was Christopher Baker breaking the 200 free school record with a time of 1:55.52. He broke the record that was held by Shane Warner (1:56.30) set in 2008-2009.

Also the 200 Girls Free Relays had their best time of the season with a 1:59.72 (Blattler, Wells, Fulst, Gallagher). Also for the girls, Senior Theresa Gallagher had her best time of the season in the 100 free with a 1:05.34.

We have been trying to get under 2:00 in every meet and the girls knew it was time to do it and they did, said coach Bobbi Jo Johnson. I am also thrilled by the fact that the team is now feeling confident enough to try other events. We had several new swimmers in the 200 (Gallaway, Bates, Froehlich) and they did very well. Bates also tried the 500 and had a very good time.

Best Times of the season set at the SCC/Edison meet were: Brandon Davidson in the 50 Free (33.59) and the 100 Free (1:20.79); JC Weiss in the 50 free (35.46; Olivia Jones in the 200 free (2:35.40) and the 100 free (1:09.31); Breanna Skinner in the 200 free (3:52.61) and the 100 breast (2:13.63); Lexi Froehlich in the 200 (3:19.10); Samantha Jefferis in the 50 free (35.33), Alexis Vogler in the 50 free (36.18); Sadie Reinacher in the 50 free (37.38); Kirestin Lucas in the 500 free (8:06.76); Jenny Lowry in the 100 back (1:35.19); Rachel Wehr in the 100 breast (1:35.87); Emily Gallaway in the 100 breast (1:42.97) and Marisa Yudasz in the 100 breast (1:45.23).
