COLUMBUS -- Four local senior standouts have been selected to participate in the annual Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association North-South All-Star Games slated Sunday, April 17 at Capital University.

The area players include Meadowbrook's Shelby Stover on girls' Division I/II South squad; Barnesville's Heidi Hines on the girls' Division III/IV South team; John Glenn's Jake Heagen on the boys' Division I/II squad; and Shenandoah's Brett Farnsworth on the boys' Division III/IV South team.

Other Eastern District selections include Maysville's Melanie Poorman on the girls' Division I/II team; Minerva's Chelsie Butler on the girls' Divison I/II North team; Garaway's Sarah Bardall on the girls' Division III/IV North team; Dover's Anthony Monaco on the boys' Division I/II North team; St. Clairsville's Allen DeRosa on the boys' Division III/IV team; and Garaway's Paul Honigford on the boys' Division III/IV North team.

The girls' Division III/IV game tips off the day at 12 noon, followed by the Division I/II contest at 1:45 p.m.

Next, the boys take center stage, with the Division III/IV tilt at 3:45 p.m. and the Division I/II clash at 5:30 p.m.
