Winter sports awards March 11

On Thursday, March 11, winter sports awards will be presented to all boys' basketball, girls' basketball, cheerleading, swimming and wrestling participants. The program will be held in the high school auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of this program is to honor all participants in winter sports, not just those who earn letters or special awards. Therefore, all sports athletes are encouraged to attend. Every team member is required to work hard and make sacrifices throughout the season and each one deserves recognition for his/her efforts. As a courtesy to each individual sport, it would be appreciated if everyone would remain in attendance for all awards throughout the program.

Immediately after the awards program, the girls' basketball parents, in conjunction with the boys' basketball, cheerleading, swimming and wrestling parents will conduct a hospitality session providing coffee, punch, cookies, etc.
