Racing for Rox Fund Raiser It's time once again for the annual "Racing for Rox" fund raiser. This fun filled event helps support our Barnesville High School Baseball team purchase items such as uniforms, catchers equipment, baseballs and bats and other equipment used for conditioning as well as items used at the park. The race will be held at the Barnesville Elks Lodge on Saturday, March 13. Registration will be held from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for horse owners and race sponsors; 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for all walk-ins with the cost at the door being $15 per couple, entry for the race will be through the front door only. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the race to follow at 7 p.m. Raffles and door prizes will be given away through the course of the evening. Head coach DJ Butler, assisted by Jeff Miller, Joel Atkinson, Randy Stephen, Devin Stephen and Bryce Allen would like to thank all area businesses and supporters as well as the Baseball Parents Organization to help get this season off the a "racing" start.
