Lady Shamrocks come from behind

Caldwell led Barnesville after the first, second and third quarters Thursday night but the Shamrocks scored the final nine points of the game over the closing two and a half minutes to pull out a 48-39 victory.

The Shamrocks lone senior Mariah Miller (21) top photo, led all scorers with 14 points, here she scores, despite the defensive efforts of the Redskins: Stacey Mugrage (12) Jensen Heller (22) and Maggie Tilton (25), on-looking teammate Jessica Hunkler (12) chipped in seven.

In the bottom photo, sophomore Devvyn Yager (32) scores two of her eight points, Caldwell's Lisa Nau (30) and Jensen Heller (22) provide the defensive pressure, while Shamrock freshman Marrissa Burga (30) anticipates a rebound.

The regular season will draw to a close Thursday evening, when the Lady Shamrocks will make the 10 mile trek to Morristown for an encounter with backyard rival Union Local.
