19th annual OVAC Cheering Competition Feb. 6
The 19th annual OVAC Cheering Competition will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Wesbanco Arena. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. to the public and the cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students.
There will be 35 teams competing in four divisions. They are: A - Bishop Donahue, Bridgeport, Paden City, Valley, Toronto, Madonna & St. Johns; 2A - Monroe Central, Fort Frye, Linsly, River, Shadyside, Shenandoah, Barnesville, Wheeling Central and Steubenville Catholic; 3A - Oak Glen, Meadowbrook, Weir, Magnolia, Union Local, Tyler, Bellaire, Harrison Central, Martins Ferry, Edison and St. Clairsville; 4A - John Marshall, Indian Creek, Buckeye Local, Steubenville, East Liverpool, Wheeling Park and Parkersburg South. Defending champions are: A - Toronto; 2A - River; 3A - St. Clairsville and 4A - Wheeling Park.
