Shamrocks win tri at Crooked Creek

The Barnesville Shamrocks were again victorious, on the eve of their OVAC AA Championship golf tournament, at the Crooked Creek Golf Course Wednesday evening near Morristown. The 'Rocks shot a team score of 174, led by co-medalist Bailey Warfield who shot a 2 over 38 (par 36) on the front nine of the course. Shadyside's Patrick O'Donnell also shot a 38 for co-medalist honors. Team and individual scores follow;

The Shamrock's travel to the Crispin course Thursday morning for the annual OVAC AA golf championship at Oglebay Park. The Shamrocks then travel next Tuesday to Salt Fork for a match-up against Buckeye Trail, Martins Ferry and Bellaire. Barnesville's current record now stands at 10-1 league, 10-3 non-league for a total of 20-4.
