Barnesville Elementary School will be hosting an Open House and a Back to School Celebration on Thursday, August 17th, 2017, from 4 - 7 p.m. All preschoolers through fourth graders and their families are invited to the elementary school to meet their teachers for the upcoming school year.

Five Loaves Food Giveaway will be Saturday, Aug. 19

"5 Loaves Food Ministry", an outreach ministry of the First Christian Church of Barnesville is announcing the next scheduled food giveaway on Saturday, August 19 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the basement of the church. There will also be a meal in the New Life Center at 11:30 a.m.

Harts celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Mr and Mrs Tom Hart celebrated their Golden Anniversary with family and friends at a dinner given by their children on May 28, 2017 at Oglebay's Wilson Lodge. The couple were married on June 3, 1967, at the First Presbyterian Church in Barnesville with the late Rev Roy Hilliard officiating.
