Special people in Barnesville

Editor:

I was reminded this week of the special people we have here in Barnesville. Some of the few that were helpful to me were: Rich Wells who offered the use of the Mother’s Club Shelter House for the monthly Barnesville Chamber of Commerce meeting. Second was the Barnesville Senior Center ( Linda Wells ) that allowed us to bake the breakfast casseroles there. Third was Cathryn Stanley Editor of the Barnesville Enterprise who graciously came to take pictures and attend the early meeting ( and she also brought her daughter, Clara ). I work for Amedisys Hospice and the other employees that helped to host the Barnesville Chamber of Commerce breakfast live elsewhere. But after the meeting their comments about how wonderful Barnesville is really made me “proud” of our community and residents. Thank you to all that helped us in any way to make the meeting a success.

Anita Rogers,

Volunteer Coordinator Amedisys Hospice
