Arnold L. Turner, 77, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 7, 1939 in Barnesville, Ohio.

Arnold was a 1957 graduate of Barnesville High School and was retired from the United States Navy where he served in Vietnam. He was former owner of Certified in Barnesville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Jean Turner; his wife, Dorothy L. (Houldsworth) Turner on March 4, 2007; and a brother, David Turner.

Arnold is survived by a son, Commander Johnny Lee (Denise) Turner of Virginia Beach, Va.; three daughters, Robin (John) Jefferis of Barnesville, Michelle Thomas of Hilliard, and Deborah (Richard) Sudduth of Groveport; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; special friend, Carol Nace; and nephew, Cort Turner.

Honoring the wishes of the family, visitation will be private. A public graveside service was held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rodney West officiating at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio. Military honors were conducted at the cemetery.
