Annabelle Plumly, 82, of Barnesville died Thursday January 24, 2013 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Wheeling, WV on 02/26/1930 to the late Francis and Florence (Bell) Pierce.
Annabelle was a 1948 Barnesville High graduate. She worked for Murphys, the K-V store, and then with Cheffy Drugs for 14 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Jr. Womens Club, Ladies of the Elks, and the Barnesville Sewing Club.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William C. Sonny Plumly; two daughters: Brenda (Bill) Ault of Bellaire and Judy (Dick) Hughes of Columbus; four grandchildren: Kristin (Rob) Beckett of Bellaire, Karie Glenn of Treasure Island, FL, Amy (Jason) Godwin of Westerville and Craig (Leah) Hughes of Scottsdale, AZ; seven great-grandchildren: Shaye Beckett, Nick Beckett, Madison Beckett, Shelby Glenn, Karly Glenn, Luke Godwin, and Ben Godwin; and special friend and care giver, Denise Starr.
Visitation was Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service was on Sunday, January 27, 2013 with Pastor Tom Detling officiating. Burial followed in Crestview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Annabelles name to the Barnesville First United Methodist Church.
