Martha Jane Calvert Hatcher, 96, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Emerald Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Barnesville, Ohio. She was born September 27, 1916 near Belmont, Ohio, daughter of the late John Harvey Calvert and Anna Catherine Yoe Calvert.

She attended Chestnut Level Grade School and graduated from high school in Cardington, Ohio. She married Clarence A. Hatcher February 26, 1936 and spent years farming and family care giving near Belmont and Bethesda. She was a member of Bethesda Christian Church and First Families of Belmont County, Ohio. She was past president of Bethesda Senior Center.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Herbert Calvert; sister, Dorotha Wheeler; two infant siblings; and granddaughter, Jordana Pasko.

Martha is survived by her children, Donald (Peggy) Hatcher of Bethesda, Ohio, Rosalie (Dr. John) Pasko of Monroe, Michigan; and Gary (Joyce) Hatcher of Indianapolis, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation and services were Friday. October 26, 2012 at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Minister Tim Snyder officiated. Interment followed at Chestnut Level Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio.
